It's Been Too Long

Hello out there in Blogger Land!! It's been quite a long time since I've shown my face here, and for that, I'm sorry. I've been convinced to rejoin the ranks by my good friend Ben.

Some changes since my last post, obviously. My hair is back to black after my phase of red with orangeish tips.

School is still rather boring, and I cannot wait for the summer. I'm also looking forward so much to being a senior. Band camp will be great, especially because the freshmen will not be as cocky as they've been getting lately. Prom is also coming closer. This year should be awesome. All my friends will actually be there to hang out and dance with.

I just had a sleepover last night, and we had so much fun. We went shopping yesterday, and I bought Apple Bottom Jeans. They're fantastic. I love spending time with my friends.

My sister moved out recently, thank god. Our house is now clean and such. My niece Rhianna is getting to be so big. She's so intelligent too. She understands when I'm talking to her, and she's going to be walking soon. Sophia, my other niece is getting big too. I'm so proud of all my nieces and nephews, and I miss them all very much.

Well, I think I've bored you quite enough for the moment, so I'll be off to my Facebook, and I'll be back just as soon as something annoys me. Adios.

This One Time, At Band Camp....

Hmm, I'm trying to think of new things about which to blog. (I really hope that was the correct way to say that)

I read the final Harry Potter book in about ten hours. It was joygasmic. I cried a few times, I laughed out loud at other times. Great book. If you'd like to discuss it, email, call, or IM me.

My cell phone broke, which is both a blessing and a curse. It sucks because there are some people I never learned the numbers of, and now I can't call them. But this means I will probably get my contract cancelled, and I'll get a brand new Verizon phone, and service will no longer be bad!

Band camp has officially started. It's still pretty amazing. I'm very thankful for all the extra people who showed up at the freshmen practice, they helped us out a lot. Night practices have pretty much just been about music, and I'm already in love with the music from Pirates.

I have no idea when I'll be getting my new car, especially since I lost my grandma's phone number along with my phone. Rather depressing, but I really hope I get it before school, or I may have to ride the bus. Or I'll just bum a ride off someone.

HSM 2 comes out soon, and I'm really excited. As far as I know, a few of my friends and I are going to have a sleepover, and watch it the night it comes out. That should be amazing.

I still have to get my schedule changed, so I have to write out what I want, and take it to school tonight. They better give me precal, or I'll stab someone.

I think I'll end this post on that note.

No One Mourns The Wicked

So not much has happened since my last blog.

I went to Drum Major Academy in Kentucky. It was absolute torture for my allergies, but I lived and learned quite a bit.

Got my license, hooray me! I definitely need a car soon, because I'll have no way to get to band camp if I don't.

I went to see Wicked on Sunday. It was, definitely one of the greatest days of my life. There was so much passion, so much energy. I barely blinked during the show, and so many times the musical talent of the actors/actresses gave me goosebumps. I'd give anything to be part of a show so fantastic and uplifting. The ending was particularly wonderful, but I won't ruin it for those who have not seen the show. I definitely encourage anyone to go see it.

The newest Harry Potter movie came out today, but I'm not going to see it today as originally planned. Oh well, I'm sure I'll see it soon.

I think I'll end this blog now, but I'll be back soon. Happy summer.

Hello Again

Hooray, I'm blogging again. Now that school's out, I really have nothing better to do.

So I'm not sure what all to blog about, but I do have a really funny story for everyone.

I rode with Kelcee to Massillon Ohio for an amazing Short Notice concert, and on the way we stopped at Starbucks for some frappos. It was raining pretty heavily, and when we got to the window, we couldn't figure out why the girl kept closing the window on us. As it turns out, the windshield wipers were flinging water in the window at her. It was great. Kelcee and I just sat there laughing for a moment, then she turned off the wipers and we got our drinks.

Other than that, I'm pretty bored. I leave Thursday for field commander camp in Kentucky, so I should probably be packing right about now... Oh well. My last in-car starts in an hour and a half, and after that, I can go get my license, although I probably won't. I found out that my church camp this year will be free, so I get to go again! I'll be getting a job soon, but I'm not sure where. I'm still thinking I wanna be a waitress. I'll decide when I get back. All-in-all, this summer is looking pretty great. Well, Happy Blogging, everyone!

Is she allowed to say that?...

Okay, I was going to try to keep my mouth shut, but I can't hold my tongue anymore.

This whole Imus scandal has got me irritated. In short, I hate stupid. Stupid seems to be an infectious disease, and as of now, there is no known cure. Stupid people are just allowed to walk the earth freely, endangering themselves and others.

Okay, so the man called a bunch of black women "nappy-headed hos". That would seem like something that nobody should care about, right? Wrong. Everyone is this "free" country seems to care.

First off, I've seen these women, and as a black woman, I agree with Imus; they're nappy-headed hos. The man was telling the truth, so let it be.

Second of all, wasn't there some kind of ratification to the Constitution that said something about that? Oh yeah, it was called the First Amendment. I have the right to say anything I could ever want to say, and there isn't a damn thing that should be done about it. But because we live in a country that wants to protect everyone's feelings and hurt nobody, somebody got a stick up their (insert inappropriate body part here) and complained.

Jesse Jackson has already said that he thinks Imus should "seek rehabilitation", which upsets me. The man has the right to say whatever he damn well pleases, and to hell with the rest of the world. It's sheer and utter stupidity that allowed that man to be fired and have his life torn apart.

Following this incident, the state of New York has tried to pass a law banning the word nigger. Now, I'm just a simple nigger from Ohio, but doesn't that seem like they're trying to take one huge, political dump all over our freedoms?

I think people need to grow some backbone, quit getting their feelings hurt over such simple things, and get a life! Good lord, we have dozens of soldiers dying in Iraq every week, and we're all gonna go get offended over some thousand year-old man making a comment about a basketball team?!?!

I will reiterate, I HATE STUPID.

That is all.

NEWNESS!!!!

Wow, it's been a while. Lots of new things to blog about.

I've had my birthday recently, and all in all, I gotta say it was pretty nice. I'm going to be getting a riding jacket from the love of my life, I got an amazing sword from my sister, and I had a fun birthday party with friends.

I should be starting my in-cars soon, so within the month, I could have my license. This is so exciting. And once I have my license, I'll be looking into getting my motorcycle permit. Yay me!

We have our first field commander practice this Thursday, which should be very enlightening. Then we'll see who all has got what it takes to be River Valley's new field commanders. :-)

I've got my prom dress and shoes, and not to toot my own horn, but I look hot. ;-)

I should probably be doing my homework at the moment, so I think I'll end this post.

Really, it's gonna end soon.

Right.....

About....

now.

Doo Dee Doo

Hmmmm, not much to blog about at the moment, so I guess the rest of this blog will be pointless. This is your warning: leave now, or don't complain about how pointless this is.

School is going swimmingly (and no, I don't know why I just used the word swimmingly). I know it sounds insane, but I really enjoy my Algebra class. I enjoy learning new things and math has always been my favorite. If you think I'm weird, oh well, I don't care.

I think I'm just in a really good place right now. No fights, no bad grades, nothing really to complain about. Yay me. =]

The entire first row of flutes (7 people) signed up to be in county festival, and Flaglor said we're only taking 2 or 3. I am the third best, so if we take 3, I'm golden. If not, I'll practice my ass off in order to try for that second spot.

The Jazz Band dance went well. I had lots of fun.

Umm, I think I've run out of things to say, so you're in luck.

Happy Blogging!!!!!
